24th FEBRUARY - PARKER FURNITURE
Today, mid-century design is everywhere – and it’s no wonder, because this 50s and 60s look is truly timeless. This week, Tara’s meeting up with celebrated Australian furniture designer, Tony Parker, to learn all about his amazing mid-century designs. Plus, she’ll be transforming an old piece of mid-century furniture to bring it back to its former glory.
3rd MARCH - STREET APPEAL
We all know it’s what’s on the inside that counts, but when it comes to your home, the outside is important, too – especially the front of your house! Carmelina and her husband bought their house six years ago and have renovated the inside, but when it came to the outside they ran out of inspiration. Jason and Tara are stopping by to bring this drab and boring exterior to life – and they’re sharing their best ideas to give your home some kerb-side appeal along the way!
10th MARCH - SELLING HOUSE
There’s so much choice out there for buyers these days – which means standing out from the crowd is no mean feat! This week, Johanna, Tara, Graham and Adam are teaming up to help retiree, Brian, make the big escape from Sydney’s suburbs to his little piece of paradise on the central coast. The team are getting together to prove that, with a little bit of money and lots of clever ideas, you can add tens of thousands of dollars to your home. If you’ve ever wanted to add value to your place, you can’t miss this!
17th MARCH - KITCHEN FOR A CAUSE
Tara’s helping out a paramedic called Peter whose kitchen needs a little bit of emergency work of its own. Peter has spent most of his life helping others in need, until 18 months ago, when he was sadly diagnosed with cancer. Peter and his wife, Jo, had been planning on renovating their out-dated kitchen – but because of his illness, it’s been put on hold. Tara’s stopping by to create a beautiful and functional kitchen for this very deserving family, so Peter can spend his recovery cooking up a storm.
